This ring belonged to some Slytherin students at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. It depicted a snake, the emblem of Slytherin House. The ring, like the Slytherin tie pin, was an heirloom of some proud wizarding families, passed down through several generations.[4]
History[]
Draco Malfoy owned such a ring and wore it frequently from 1993 until the late 1990s.[2] It was also worn by other Slytherin students, such as Lestrange,[1] Gregory Goyle, Pansy Parkinson, and Vincent Crabbe,[2] as well as Blaise Zabini,[3] and potentially others.[4]
Behind the scenes[]
- The rings were designed by Catherine Hills Jewellery.[5]
- Tom Felton, the actor who portrayed Draco, managed to keep the ring with him from the set of the film adaptation of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.[6]
