Snooker is a Muggle cue sport played on a rectangular table with pockets at each of the four corners and in the middle of each long side. Using a cue and 22 coloured balls, players must strike the cue ball to pot the remaining balls in the correct sequence.[1]

While at the Muggle Siren's Rest pub in Wales during the Into the Deep investigation, Ministry of Magic investigator Mathilda Grimblehawk wondered off to see if she could find a "snooker pitch" while her partner looked for clues.[2]
