The snowdrop,[2] formally known as Galanthus Nivalis,[1] is a species of flowering plant.
Description[]
This plant could be used in potion-making, and Severus Snape kept a jar of these plants in his office in Hogwarts Castle during the 1990s.[1] The plant was an ingredient in Exstimulo Potion, Strong Exstimulo Potion, and Potent Exstimulo Potion.[2]
History[]
During the Calamity in the late 2010s or early 2020s, Mundungus Fletcher "happened to come across" crates of snowdrops at a Muggle old-folks home and offered them to a Calamity Investigator working for the Statute of Secrecy Task Force, claiming that Muggles had augmented the snowdrops to make them far more potent. The Calamity Investigator later used these improved snowdrops to increase the effectiveness of their Exstimulo Potions.[2]
