The snowflake-making spell[2] (incantation unknown) was a Weather-Modifying Charm that created snow.[1]
History
This spell was used unintentionally by Ronald Weasley in 1996. He used it whilst practising the spell to turn vinegar into wine in Charms, due to his being distracted by talking to Harry Potter.[1]

Behind the scenes
- In the film adaptation of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince Ron Weasley uses this spell unintentionally, which happens in the Great Hall while Ron is getting better after being poisoned and keeping an eye on the sad Lavender Brown.[3]
