Solanaceae, also known as the Nightshade family, is a family of flowering plants that include over two-thousand seven-hundred individual species, including some of the most commonly eaten foods[1] as well as common potion ingredients.[2] The plants from this family were well-known for their highly specific soil needs.[2]
