The South Sea Bog was a small region in the Scottish Highlands that was located between the Hogwarts Valley and Coastal Cavern. It consisted largely of marshland. The wizard Wigot Spitchwick lived there.[1]

At some point during the 1890–1891 school year, a student at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry visited the South Sea Bog.[1]
