Spiky Prickly Plant are bushes with big yellow thorns growing out of them. They shoot these spikes whenever felt in harm, as in when a Human gets too close. To get rid of them, it is recomended to use the Severing Charm in order to cut their stems. These plants are covered in second year Herbology classes at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. They are related to Spiky Bushes, but are a lot smaller and have more thorns than the bushes
