The St Mungo's Admissions Department was, presumably, a department of St Mungo's Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries that recorded the patients who had given entry on the Hospital and their respective injuries or illnesses. It was also presumably where specialist Healers from various medical departments went to look for new cases when their more 'every-day' duties was done.
