History[]

Newt Scamander atop St Paul's Cathedral
In late 1927, Newton Scamander met Albus Dumbledore atop the roofs of St Paul's Cathedral, with Newt arriving via Apparition. In order to have a conversation with Newt in private, without being potentially spied upon by others, Dumbledore cast the Fogging Spell from the roof of this cathedral to create a powerful grey fog across London.[1][3]
