Stinchcombe is village in the county of Gloucestershire, England.[1] Linfred of Stinchcombe, a pioneering potioneer and the founding patriarch of the Potter family, lived there during the 12th century.[2] He was well-liked by his Muggle neighbours, who regarded him as a lovable eccentric, and often came to him seeking remedies for their ailments.[2]
