- "What rhymes with 'avenge'? Stonehenge?"
- — Orsino Thruston[src]
Stonehenge is a prehistoric monument consisting of rings of vertical standing stones, some topped by connecting horizontal lintel stones. It is one of the most famous landmarks in the United Kingdom.[1]
History[]
Herodiana Byrne supposedly rescued a group of orphans from a wild Graphorn by banishing it over Stonehenge with the Banishing Charm.[2]
Eleazar Fig once subdued a Graphorn at Stonehenge.[3]
When the wizarding band the Weird Sisters were composing the lyrics to a song about Jacob's sibling and their role as the "Hero of Hogwarts" during the plot to find the Cursed Vaults, drummer Orsino Thruston suggested the word "Stonehenge" as something that would rhyme with "avenge".[4]
