A student chaperone was a Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry student tasked with guiding a younger prospective student around the castle.
History[]
During the 1985–1986 school year, Jacob's sibling and Merula Snyde worked as student chaperones for Draco Malfoy when he visited Hogwarts with his father, Lucius.[1] Jacob's sibling filled this position again in their later years, when Draco visited again.[2]
