The Sunday Prophet was the name of the Sunday edition of the Daily Prophet.[1][2] Presumably, this edition included different features, compared to the regular edition.
History[]
It was a June 1996 issue of the Sunday Prophet, HE-WHO-MUST-NOT-BE-NAMED RETURNS, that first acknowledged the return of Lord Voldemort after the Daily Prophet as a whole had denied it for a year.[1] It drastically shifted the newspaper's stance from mocking and ridiculing Harry Potter and Albus Dumbledore to admitting they were right the whole time.
On 13 April, 2014, the Sunday Prophet had an article, entitled NORWAY VERSUS IVORY COAST, on the opening match of the 427th Quidditch World Cup, in which Norway defeated Ivory Coast 340 to 100.[2]
Appearances[]
- Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (First mentioned)
- Pottermore (First appearance)
