Sydney is a city of the south-eastern coast of Australia. It the country's most populous city, but not, as is often assumed, its capital.
On 14 December 2018, a Muggle speed camera captured blurry footage of several out-of-control riderless Nimbus 2000 broomsticks speeding on a motorway in Sydney. The Statute of Secrecy Task Force was soon after deployed to track the rogue brooms before they were noticed by Muggle authorities.
