About the chart Minister for Magic and Support Staff at the bottom of the page, in my opinion it shouldn't have the line Head of the Muggle-Born Registration Commission and the corresponding employee because it isn't part of the Minister for Magic cabinet. To reinforce this idea, on the chart at the bottom of the article Minister for Magic and Support Staff it's said that it is located at Level 1 at the British Ministry of Magic in London, and on the article Muggle-Born Registration Commission it's said that it is located at Level 10. If anyone else want to know, Ad hoc, which is in the article, means: it is a Latin expression that translates literally as "for this" or "for this purpose", in this case, it means that the position was created "for a specific purpose". Andre G. Dias (talk) 18:39, February 8, 2014 (Brazil)

The job[]

How can the position as Advisor to the Minister for Magic be 'an ad hoc position created in the administration of Rufus Scrimgeour to allow the outgoing Minister for MagicCornelius Fudge, to remain in the government in some capacity' if Septimus Malfoy was advisor to another Minister centuries earlier? It is not uncommon for heads of state to have several advisors who will counsel him on different matters. Isn't it better to re-write it and add that Fudge was made 'an advisor'? Fudge consented to stay in an 'advisory capacity', so Fudge was an advisor to the Minister, not the advisor. Ninclow 19:54, September 5, 2015 (UTC)

I agree it seems inconsistent. Septimus Malfoy is never, to my knowledge, said to have worked as Osbert's advisor (Pottermore just says that he was "greatly influential at the Ministry", but there's many ways to influence the Minister -- especially one that is described as "too much influenced by pure-bloods of wealth and status"). My bad, I remembered incorrectly. ^^' Maester Martin (talk) 03:11, May 1, 2019 (UTC)
