Multiple Wands[]

I guess the other wand seen in the promotional posters earlier this year wasn't a mistake after all - it was in this teaser image as well. Does this mean a second page for this wand has to be made as well? Garr9988 (talk) 17:59, September 26, 2018 (UTC)

There are also these two images, so... Garr9988 (talk) 18:43, September 27, 2018 (UTC)

I'm confused. I have looked at every image linked above and in the article and it appears to me that he has the same wand in every image, it's simply not as clear in others (e.g. he's holding it or it's further away). - Kates39 (talk) 22:01, September 27, 2018 (UTC)
They're different from the wand currently in this page's infobox, and if I remember right, Albus has been shown to have wielded both in various pictures. I'm assuming this one may get broken and replaced with the one that looks closer to the Elder Wand. Garr9988 (talk) 23:29, September 27, 2018 (UTC)
Made a new page for Albus Dumbledore's wand (II), and renamed this one as we have no idea the order of ownership and no idea if either is his first wand. Hopefully Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald will give us more info to provide better article names. --Ironyak1 (talk) 01:45, September 28, 2018 (UTC)
Should we add the images of the other wands to the wiki as well (like Theseus', for example? The image currently used for his wand is awful). Garr9988 (talk) 16:53, September 28, 2018 (UTC)
No reason not to add better images as long as they don't contain out-of-universe elements and are properly sourced. Cheers --Ironyak1 (talk) 17:09, September 28, 2018 (UTC)

So the word is that this wand has been replaced by the curly wand in re-shoots and post production. Looks like this wand is now a non-canon, making of, film prop. --Ironyak1 (talk) 17:23, October 18, 2018 (UTC)

Merge[]

Seeing as this is essentially just a non-canon depiction of Dumbledore's original wand (and not another wand altogether), couldn't we simply move the contents of this article to the "Behind the scenes" section of Albus Dumbledore's wand and leave it at that? I see no reason why these two articles ought to be kept separate. --  Seth Cooper  owl post! 17:23, 10 January 2021 (UTC)

I am fully in agreement with this. -  MrSiriusBlack  Talk  20:28, 16 January 2021 (UTC)

I agree. --RogueOwner (talk) 16:28, 15 February 2021 (UTC)
