To me, it is quite obvious that this source is referring to the subject, not the room. Is there any other source that refers to the room specifically as 'Alchemy Class'? If not, then this page should be renamed to 'Alchemy classroom', as it shouldn't have a seemingly non-conjectural title with this capitalisation if it is conjectural. Also, is it definitely not the same classroom as this? - MrSiriusBlack Talk 20:57, 13 March 2023 (UTC)
- Slightly unfair to refer to your interpretation as "obvious". The Field Guide page is found within the room, has an image of the door to the room, and has the title of 'Alchemy Class'. While the description may explain the academic subject, we simply cannot argue for either side whether the title ("Alchemy Class") refers to the subject or the room because the source itself is not explicit – it boils down to whether you perceive this as "Alchemy Class + image of room", which would suggest the name of the room; or "Alchemy Class + description", which would suggest it is the name of the subject. Alchemy (rooms) is also on the fourth floor; this is in the dungeons. I am neutral on a name change as the argument is fairly equal in both directions. Castlemore (talk) 21:24, 13 March 2023 (UTC)
- Why would the description be describing anything other than what the title is? O.o - MrSiriusBlack Talk 21:35, 13 March 2023 (UTC)
- Because it's trivia... The same way that for the Dark Tower topmost cell, the description tells the story of some distant medieval Charms master instead of actually describing the Dark Tower cell. My point is that there are no hard and fast rules about what the title and description refer to here, and it is mainly up to interpretation. To act like your interpretation is obvious and mine isn't would not be genuine - but if you feel that it is better to err on the side of caution by giving the article a completely neutral name, fine. I just named it at its creation based on what my interpretation was. Castlemore (talk) 21:40, 13 March 2023 (UTC)
- It describes what the Charms master did in that cell, so yes the description is still about what the title is in that case. - MrSiriusBlack Talk 21:47, 13 March 2023 (UTC)
