Just wondering how can Dippet's broomstick have been confiscated in 1992, given that, according to his article, he died many years before? -Smonocco (talk) 01:45, May 6, 2014 (UTC)

Since when was Armando Dippet even confirmed to have once owned a broomstick? C.Syde (talk | contribs) 09:32, May 6, 2014 (UTC)
As can be seen in the article, it was confirmed in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (film). However, the article may or may not be canon given that it was written before we realised he died in 1956 or 1971, depending on when Dumbledore became Headmaster. The film makes the claim that Dippet was alive until December 1992, which we now know not to be the case. I therefore think this article should be tagged as "non-canon". --Hunnie Bunn (talk) 11:49, May 6, 2014 (UTC)

Agreed. C.Syde (talk | contribs) 09:21, May 10, 2014 (UTC)
