Battle Succession Boxes

I think it might be a good idea to have navigation templates for articles relating to the Second Wizarding War to show a chronology of battles; otherwise a person would have to look at the Second Wizarding War article to know exactly which battle precedes which. We could use the succession templates we already have, but those are designed for positions, so I'm not sure about that. But, for the Attack at Godric's Hollow, it would look something like this:

And then for the Ambush at the Lovegood House:

And so on, enabling a user to be able to navigate chronologically through the events of the Second War. Any thoughts? Oread (talk) 15:38, 12 April 2009 (UTC)

This is a good idea. However, there may have been events outside of those presented or mentioned in the books. Succession boxes give the impression that the chronology they present is complete, when that may not be the case. But we can only work with as much information as we have currently; the succession boxes can be modified if we learn of new events. Starstuff (Owl me!) 04:05, 13 April 2009 (UTC)

I agree with starstuff - Hellabore

Okay then. Another possibility would be an entirely new type of navigation template, but seeing as I have no idea how to design those... Oread (talk) 17:04, 13 April 2009 (UTC)
