Shouldn't this article just be redirected to Boa Constrictor they are both about the same thing because the one at the zoo is the only one isn't it? --Bongo2009 Talk 19:51, 9 August 2009 (UTC)

I think the Boa constrictor article is about the animal in general; this article is about a specific one. So I think they should remain separate. --Cubs Fan2007 (Talk to me) 20:03, 9 August 2009 (UTC)

Did J. K. Rowling really confirm that the boa Harry set free was actually Nagini? Or is it just another trick by newbie editors? Somebody tell me. --MrSmartyMax 18:17, January 22, 2012 (UTC)

Is this really still going around? ಠ_ಠ (Note: I'm not attempt to be insulting or condescending, just thought this nonsense was over with by now. Sorry if it comes off that way.) -- 1337star (Owl Post) 18:48, January 22, 2012 (UTC)

Should we change the article name to Snake at the Zoo to be fair to the film, despite it is a non-canon python? --Danniesen 17:31, March 12, 2012 (Denmark)

No need to be "fair to the film", the fact that the snake was a python is a canonical falsehood at any rate; does not need to be acknowledged. --  Seth Cooper  owl post! 17:22, March 12, 2012 (UTC)

Does anyone know who voiced it? I used to think it sounded a bit like the sorting hat, so maybe it was Leslie Phillips? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 169.204.229.18 (talkcontribs).

LOL, did I make that comment? That's exactly what I thought and I still have no idea... General Ironbeak (talk) 20:42, March 30, 2014 (UTC)

Was Harry's meeting with Boa constrictor prearranged to test his parselmouth abilities?

The article "Everything you didn’t know about Parseltongue" on Pottermore says "Rest assured, Harry was invited on the trip by accident". Considering that Arabella Figg was revealed to be a member of the Order of the Phoenix, her excuse of breaking a leg in Philosopher's stone sounds weird, and we indeed have reasons to suspect that Harry's trip to the zoo wasn't an accident. Is Pottermore being tongue-in-cheek with us here? --UchuuEngineer 19:30, June 21, 2018 (UTC)
