Boxing day is like Black Friday[]

Boxing day, now known as Boxing week, is traditional bargain shopping day very similar to Black Friday (the day after American Thanksgiving). [1] Canadian stores now offer Black Friday sales, even though our Thanksgiving is celebrated in October, in an attempt to reduce cross-border shopping [2] The Consumer by Stompin Tom: [3]

In the MASH episode "Twas the Day After Christmas" Charles Wincheter tells the 4077 that Boxing Day was the day when masters and servants change places. Colonel Potter decides to do this role reversal for a day to boost moral [4]. (Vaudree (talk) 20:48, October 27, 2015 (UTC))

"Now known as Boxing Week"? Where? And do you have a reference for that? — RobertATfm (talk) 21:19, October 27, 2015 (UTC)

I have a question: if Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (video game) is a reference, how come it isn't in Appearances? How exactly does Boxing Day appear in the game? Does the "Pygmy Puffs singing" information really come from the game? --EnderDragon233 (talk) 05:27, 9 October 2021 (UTC)

Will go check the edit history to see who's responsible for the citation. I've not played games for each book, so I do not know if the ref actually applies (it could actually apply, right?), but HM does have the "Pygmy Puffs singing" stuff, which is cited in the body. BRB. Thanks for bringing this up! --Sammm✦✧(talk) 03:27, 10 October 2021 (UTC)
Back, so the HBPG ref was first added in this edit, the User in question was still around a year ago, I suppose there's no harm in trying to directly asking them? That said, can anyone who has played the game help confirm if the citation is true? It's like what EnderDragon233 said, in that case, it should be listed in the Appearances section. IDK if it's actually trying to cite the film and selected the wrong link, but better safe than sorry. Again, thanks catching this! --Sammm✦✧(talk) 03:36, 10 October 2021 (UTC)
