We have no descriptors from the book for Alecto to determine if she was young or old so it's possible, although she would have to be born before ~1905 to be a follower of Grindelwald making her over 90 by Deathly Hallows. From an out of universe perspective, as FB is a continuation of the film series, it would be a bit out of sync to have her be portrayed by younger women for both appearances in 1927 and 1997, so I doubt this Carrow is Alecto, but I could be wrong. Identity

To my knowledge, it is even possible that this woman is Alecto herself. Her age was never revealed in canon, so she may already have been alive in the 1920s. What do you think?--Rodolphus (talk) 21:51, December 13, 2017 (UTC)

Rephrase

It appears that the source has been changed, and the name Carrow is not mentioned anymore. Any idea how to reflect this in the article?--Rodolphus (talk) 10:54, March 24, 2018 (UTC)
