Identity[]
To my knowledge, it is even possible that this woman is Alecto herself. Her age was never revealed in canon, so she may already have been alive in the 1920s. What do you think?--Rodolphus (talk) 21:51, December 13, 2017 (UTC)
Bumping.--Rodolphus (talk) 17:08, October 1, 2018 (UTC)
- We have no descriptors from the book for Alecto to determine if she was young or old so it's possible, although she would have to be born before ~1905 to be a follower of Grindelwald making her over 90 by Deathly Hallows. From an out of universe perspective, as FB is a continuation of the film series, it would be a bit out of sync to have her be portrayed by younger women for both appearances in 1927 and 1997, so I doubt this Carrow is Alecto, but I could be wrong. Rephrase[]
It appears that the source has been changed, and the name Carrow is not mentioned anymore. Any idea how to reflect this in the article?--Rodolphus (talk) 10:54, March 24, 2018 (UTC)
Rename suggestion[]
I don't think the rename is necessary. Since there are several Carrows, the "(1920s)" part is helpful because it will separate her to the others. It's not saying she was only around in the 1920s, but that is when she was known to be active/notable. - Kates39 (talk) 21:43, 18 January 2023 (UTC)
The issue I have with it, is that she has not been exclusively been active in the 1920s. Perhaps something like "Carrow (Acolyte)" would be appropriate? RedWizard98 (talk) 12:53, 26 January 2023 (UTC)
- I didn't realise she was in Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore. Yes, I also think "Carrow (Acolyte)" sounds like a better name. - Kates39 (talk) 15:29, 26 January 2023 (UTC)
The best suggestion in my opinion is that of Keats

- Shall I go ahead with the desired rename then? RedWizard98 (talk) 13:29, 28 January 2023 (UTC)
- I support it. - MrSiriusBlack Talk 17:01, 28 January 2023 (UTC)
