Order of Merlin[]
He may not have been awarded a Order of Merlin because at the time werewolfs were viewed so badly that the Ministry of magic would proberly have not seen helping werewolves an award worthy accomplishment

Belby[]
No offence to anyone, but would it be considered too much of a stretch to assume, based on the fact that (at least here in Canada) males keep their surnames and that his nephew's surname is Belby, that he himself is of the surname Belby?
