First-Year Charms Exam

Harry has mastered this "jinx" in second year. Could it be that Tarantallegra is the spell required to pass the charms final in first year, making a pinapple dance across the desk? We know that it doesn't only work on people (Vesuvius). 12:39, November 24, 2010 (UTC)

You are correct about the fact that a student has mastered the 'jinx' in second year; that particular student is Draco Malfoy. Nonetheless, it is in my opinion extremely coincedental of the circumstances; I believe you are correct. However, it is also of my opinion that until permission from an admin is given, any relation to the first year charms exam should be omitted. Luna Malfoy 18:53, December 10, 2011 (UTC)Luna Malfoy

Should this be named after the spell?

Should this page just be named after the spell itself, "Tarantallegra" and have the "dancing feet"  notes as a footnote, second descriiption? Tiria Wildlough File:Coaslyth.jpg? Owl Reception 08:30, September 13, 2016 (UTC)

Articles about spells are preferentially named after the spell's vernacular name (e.g. Killing Curse, Knockback Jinx, Levitation Charm, not "Avada Kedavra'", "Flipendo", "Wingardium Leviosa"); the incantation is only used as an article title if the vernacular name is not known (e.g. Morsmordre, Densaugeo, Anapneo). --  Seth Cooper  owl post! 23:26, September 13, 2016 (UTC)
