It is rumored that Helga enslaved the house elves. Thoughts ? (I've been paying too much attention to John Noe) Snoops619

I've never heard that rumour - where's it from? - Cavalier One(Wizarding Wireless Network) 21:28, 8 December 2007 (UTC)
How do you enslave a house elf? I mean, it's their nature to be slaves, i thought? Mafalda Hopkirk 04:11, 10 December 2007 (UTC)
It may be in their nature now, but there may have been a time when they were free and subsequently enslaved. But still, I never heard the rumour. Hufflepuff's receipes are the basis of many Hogwarts dishes, so she obviously had a hand in creating and maintaining the kitchen staff, tho. - Cavalier One(Wizarding Wireless Network) 08:11, 10 December 2007 (UTC)

It was on PotterCast. John Noe was winding up Mellisa (co-host) by saying that Helga enslaved the house-elves (she is a huge Hufflepuff fan) but when they met J.K Rowling he asked her about this and she didn't deny it outright, but let it carry on (to Mellisa's dismay). Snoops619

Look what I found

Isn't it enterily subjective, saying that Zacharias Smith doesn't have the Hufflepuff traits of loyalty and so? We don't see very much of Zacharias, and besides he wasn't the one to out D.A. to Umbridge, so how can one say he isn't loyal? I only see that as an opinion. 08:26, August 13, 2011 (UTC)Christina

Saying "he is not loyal" has nothing to do with him not betraying the D. A. to Umbridge. He left the D. A. alone when Voldemort attacked Hogwarts. He even pushed under-age students out of his way for assuring that HE could leave Hogwarts for sure. I would say this is illoyal. Harry granger 21:36, August 13, 2011 (UTC)

As Hepzibah Smith is a descendent of Helga, it is surely certain she had at least one child. Could this be added under family information? Lysander Scamander 21:30, June 17, 2012 (UTC)

Why didn't the director add the name of the actress portrayed her? Duy goby (talk)

Could you clarify your question? Helga Hufflepuff does not appear in any of the Harry Potter films. -- 1337star (Drop me a line!) 16:16, June 21, 2018 (UTC)
