Dates[]

The main page lists his birth year as 897, but gives Hogwarts' founding (as per other sources and including in the main article) is 997. I'm assuming this is a typo and should be 987. If we go by the Hogwarts Legacy date of Hogsmeade being founded in 914, this date makes sense. But if we stick with Hogwarts being founded in the 990s, it doesn't work. Would 78 years later still be considered "around the same time as Hogwarts"? LupineMoon (talk) 02:40, 9 August 2022 (UTC)

Hello, thanks for pointing it out, it indeed is a typo. As for the Hogsmeade founding date, can you provide a source (video/post/etc) that states Hogsmeade was founded in 914? If Hogsmeade and Hogwarts were founded in the same century, speaking from a historical perspective, "around the same time" might not be too wrong. MalchonC (talk) 02:45, 9 August 2022 (UTC)
