Shouldn't this article be moved to "Mr. Granger", as Molly Weasley once referred to "Mr. and Mrs. Granger" in the early chapters of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows? Butterfly the rabbit 14:54, November 29, 2010 (UTC)

If they had only ever been referred to as Hermione's mother and father, then it should stay as it is. There seems to be a convention toward titling articles on unnamed family members based on the relationship to the most prominent character. Thus we have "Luna Lovegood's mother" and not "Xenophilius Lovegood's wife." ★ Starstuff ^{(Owl me!)} 21:16, June 17, 2011 (UTC)

Memories...

Names

Just wondering, how do we know their names aren't actually Wendell and Monica? --Hunnie Bunn (talk) 21:58, October 17, 2013 (UTC)

In D.H. Hermione says: "I've also modified my parents' memories so that they're convinced they're really called Wendell and Monica Wilkins, and that their life's ambition is to move to Australia, which they have now done." I took that to mean those were not their actual names. -Smonocco (talk) 10:25, October 18, 2013 (UTC)

That only necessarily means that their surname isn't Wilkins, nor was it 'Monica's' maiden name, it's still entirely possible that she kept their first names.
