Canon[]
Are they refered to as Ilvermorny statues in canon? If they are not, I´d be in favour of moving this article to "Illvermorny founder statues" and founder statues to Hogwarts founder statues.--Rodolphus (talk) 11:33, July 1, 2016 (UTC)
- Stated like this: "Marble statues of Isolt and James flank the front doors of Ilvermorny Castle." I like the idea of making it parallel to Hogwarts founder statues and can use "Founder statues" as a disambiguation page. Cheers --Ironyak1 (talk) 11:44, July 1, 2016 (UTC)
The same way, we could create articles on "Illvermorny entrance hall" and "Illvermorny Sortig Ceremony". and "Illvermorny Castle" of course.--Rodolphus (talk) 11:56, July 1, 2016 (UTC)
- I am in favour of renaming the pages to "Ilvermorny founder statues" and "Hogwarts founder statues". However, I don't think we need an "Illvermorny entrance hall" page because we only have a few lines worth of information which is already noted on the main Ilvermorny School page. The Great Hall at Hogwarts is fine because we have seven books worth of history, pictures and then lots of information from other medias such as Pottermore but I don't think we have enough information for the Ilvermorny hall to merit its own page. Until we do - if we ever do - get any new information, I think we should just leave making a page for the entrance hall until that happens. Ilvermorny Castle doesn't need its own page either because Ilvermorny Castle is Ilvermorny School of Witchcraft and Wizardry so we would just be putting the same thing on two pages. --May32 (talk) 12:19, July 1, 2016
We have artickes on the Palace of Bauxbatons, Durmstrang Castle, Hogwarts Castle and all other school buildings. And we have articles on every little room at Hogwarts Castle and on the Beauxbatons dining hall. With Illvermorny Castle and Entrance hall, it is the same situation I think. The Illvermorny School article ficuses on the School as an Organisation, the others are specifically on the building and rooms it is in.--Rodolphus (talk) 12:39, July 1, 2016 (UTC)
- I knew Hogwarts Castle had a page but I didn't think the others did. The Hogwarts one has to be the most extensive article on here! I guess if the wikia has already gone down the route of making individual pages for every castle, entrance/dining halls and so on then we should make them for Ilvermorny too - you never know, Jo might write more for us to add! --May32 (talk) 12:53, July 1, 2016
- I would also add the foyer for the Magical Congress of the United States of America as another location page needed given its direct mention and image provided for the Magical exposure threat level measurer. --Ironyak1 (talk) 13:09, July 1, 2016 (UTC)
