This seems unnecessary[]

Is there going to be an article for "The Dobby Incident" from Chamber of Secrets? Or "The Arthur Weasley Incident" from Goblet of Fire? Or "The Albus Dumbledore Incident" from Half-Blood Prince? 70.242.119.88 22:45, December 30, 2009 (UTC)

No this is only for really special things that happened. And otherwise, not that I will makking them, but you can always ask it to a administrator. But Ratneer found it good, like I see.--Station7 22:48, December 30, 2009 (UTC)

I mean Seth Cooper, but I will have I think another title, indeed of this one.--Station7 22:49, December 30, 2009 (UTC)

Well, As a matter of fact, we have articles for those subjects. The Plot to assassinate Albus Dumbledore, Battle of the Astronomy Tower and the Affray at the Chamber of Secrets -- Ratneer Owl Me! 22:50, December 30, 2009 (UTC)

I was referring to the incidents where Dobby levitates the pudding, Arthur Weasley wrecks the Dursleys' living room, and Albus Dumbledore bounces glasses of mead on their heads. You say "this is only for really special things that happened". What makes this so special? 70.242.119.88 04:00, December 31, 2009 (UTC)

Name[]

The name of this article strikes me as way too general, considering this wasn't the only incident to occur involving the Dursleys, or a Dursley. Maybe something like "The Marjorie Dursley Incident" would be better? EmmyG 15:36, October 9, 2010 (UTC)

Maybe it could be named something more to do with Aunt Marge specifically as the incident mostly revolves around her. --BachLynn(Accio!) 15:55, October 9, 2010 (UTC)

What about naming the article Marjorie Dursley Mayhem? --Danniesen 19:31, February 1, 2012 (Denmark)

I agree with renaming the article. Since it's a conjectural title, we need something more descriptive than the current one. --  Seth Cooper  owl post! 18:41, February 1, 2012 (UTC)
I've went ahead and moved it to "Blowing-up of Marjorie Dursley", seeing as this is how Fudge refers to this incident in PoA. --  Seth Cooper  owl post! 18:44, February 1, 2012 (UTC)

TV programme[]

During the dinner, and this incident, what programme did the TV show?? --Danniesen 09:37, February 2, 2012 (Denmark)

Article merge?[]

Does the community think this article should be merged, or not. Generally articles on incidents of underage magic don't have their own articles, aside from this one and the articles regarding Umbridge's Dementor attack and Harry's hearing, but this article does. To be fair, this could be covered in Marge's own article, which it currently is to a high level. I don't actually have a strong opinion either way, but I want to know what others think, so this issue can be finally resolved. RedWizard98 (talk) 18:57, 16 April 2021 (UTC)

Aunt Marge's memory[]

Why was Aunt Marge's memory modified to make her forget about the incident, like why did they do that. She should have remembered the incident as it would have taught her a lesson to not be so mean and cruel to Harry. Oceanites1 (talk) 05:11, 08 June 2023 (UTC)

I think perhaps you are unaware of what wizarding secrecy is. Both the article and the book explains this. RedWizard98 (talk) 14:53, 10 June 2023 (UTC)
Wait I see it. It says the wizarding secrecy is supposed to hide Muggles from the wizarding world where they aren’t supposed to know about magic.
