Removed Harry James Potter from the list of permanent members. The only way his mother's charm could be broken was Harry's coming-of-age or no longer calling the house home. In an effort to free him, the Order of the Phoenix helped him escape, resulting in Alastor Moody's death. -- Padawan1 23:47, 3 December 2007 (UTC)

Tom Riddle's Father[]

Is it Little Whinging where Tom Riddle's father is buried? and where the Portkey took Harry and Cedric? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Bongo2009 (talkcontribs).

Nope, that's Little Hangleton. --  Seth Cooper  owl post! 17:23, 20 July 2009 (UTC)

Harry and Dudley's attack[]

What's the name of the article about Harry and Dudley's attack by the Dementors? I know we have one. Anyone know the title of the article? -- GrouchMan (Send an owl then scram!!) 16:07, December 15, 2009 (UTC)

Flight with the Advance Guard[]

In reality if you want to shuttle from Surrey to London, you have to head north or north-east. If so, why did Harry with the Advance Guard take different direction (mostly southern and south-eastern), when he was escorted from Little Whinging to Grimmauld Place 12 (London) in "HP & the Order of the Phoenix"? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 83.31.94.154 (talkcontribs).

Dubious geography[]

I think this article needs to be cleaned up, as whoever wrote it got their facts wrong.

For a start, Iver is not on the border between Buckinghamshire and Surrey; the county to the east of that border is Greater London, and before the establishment of Greater London County the county in question was Middlesex. The River Thames is the northern border of Surrey, and the southern border of Buckinghamshire (and of Middlesex, when it existed).

Secondly, although some trains from Waterloo go to Bucks (particularly to Windsor and Eton Riverside), crossing the Thames in the process, no train (that I've ever heard of, at any rate) goes from Paddington to Surrey; that was one of the many mistakes in the books — Harry should have departed for Little Whinging from Victoria, Waterloo or London Bridge, and indeed the movie Harry Potter and the Half-Baked Script starts off by showing Harry at Surbiton station (nominally in Surrey, though it's actually been in Greater London since 1968) which is on the line from Waterloo.
