Troll blood?

Is there any confirmation that Marcus Flint indeed has some Troll blood in him? Notdoppler 12:29, 25th September 2009 (UTC)

No. There hasnt been any confirmation from J.K.Rowling or anybody that Marcus Flint had any ounces of blood in him. The 'troll' comment was supposed to be an insult to his appearance in the books and films. Hope this helped =)Muggleborn-Phoenix 22:25, August 22, 2011 (UTC)

Sixth Year?

I know the wiki lists Flint as being in his Sixth Year during Harry's First, and that he had to repeat his final year which is why he is still there three years later. My copy of Philosphers Stone lists him as being a Fifth Year though. I can't remember which printing is so I will check, but I was wondering if anyone else noticed the same thing? You must have a "new" copy. They corrected this mistake later, if you see the "Mistakes" section in Philosopher's Stone.--L.V.K.T.V.J.Hogwarts(Send an owl!) 04:19, June 9, 2010 (UTC)
Marcus was in his sixth year in Philosopher's Stone. Then seventh in Chamber of Secrets. But because he failed his seventh year he had to return, therefore he was there for Prisoner of Azkaban.Muggleborn-Phoenix 22:22, August 22, 2011 (UTC)

But that's silly. Marcus Flint had to repeat his final year, but that doesn't mean he was a fifth year in the first book. -- C.Syde (talk | contribs) 08:32, July 29, 2014 (UTC)

Date of birth

In my latest version of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, it states that Marcus was a fifth-year then and not a sixth year. I understand that it was the other way round originally and Rowling was asked about it in an interview and gave an answer that he had a skip a year then, but since she later corrected the mistake, shouldn't you take that latest version to be higher canon because that's what everyone will read now? - LucyJ29 (talk) 17:44, February 21, 2019 (UTC)
