The timing of Marlene McKinno's death[]
There is direct proof that the photo of the original Order of the Phoenix would not be able to take in July 1981.

- But that doesn't fit with what has been said about Marlene's death. "She was killed two weeks after this was taken. They got her whole family." - yes, okay, that doesn't necessarily mean they killed her family at the same time as her, but "that was probably the news about the McKinnons; I cried all evening when I heard." seems to imply that they did. - MrSiriusBlack Talk 13:32, 18 November 2022 (UTC)
Fanon and false information[]
There is way too much fanon and false information being added to this article and other similar ones (which is a form of vandalism), there should be a semi auto-protection ideally placed on this page to discourage newly registered users doing unwanted edits to it. so i like to think that dorcas is a aries because shes very hot-headed and protective but also very sweet and kind in my brain however i think marlene was a february pisces i cannot explain it very well but dorlene just seems like a pisces x aries ship if that makes sense? remus is a march pieces its not the same i'm telling you please. also she was absolutely born on february 24th the same thing that told me that my grandfather was going to die within the two months that he did is telling me that. please consider this and if you don't i will continue to send these until something happens :D also yes i know zodiac signs are kinda useless but dorlene is not Gemini x Aries that would be hell or Leo x aries that would be so bad :D —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Mental Sapphic (talk • contribs).
