The default names for the player character are Horatio Jennings and Josephine Jennings. I propose that we have the article to Jennings in light of this. Starstuff (Owl me!) 00:25, October 31, 2016 (UTC)

Overall there are 75+ male first names, 75+ female first names, and 80+ last names (or about 12000 different name combinations). I think the defaults are just that the selectors are set in the middle of these lists. Given that whatever name is chosen appears in various dialogues and such, there is a lot of variation on how people might think of this character's name. I think leaving it as Mathilda Grimblehawk's partner is the only way to cover them all. Cheers --Ironyak1 (talk) 18:37, October 31, 2016 (UTC)
I still think "Jennings" would preferable to "Mathilda Grimblehawk's partner" as an article title. It would make the prose in this and other Fantastic Beasts: Cases... articles a lot less clunky. As a point of comparison, the Dragon Age Wiki uses "Hawke" as the title of its article on the player character in Dragon Age II, whose first name and gender can be selected by the player. Granted, that's probably because "Hawke" is used in voiced dialogue, but I presume it's also because it allows for tidier prose. Starstuff (Owl me!) 15:35, February 12, 2018 (UTC)
