Is Olympe Maxime's title spelled with an e (Madame) or without an e (Madam)? If so, should we, perhaps, change this to make consistency throughout the article and other articles? 18.104.22.168 02:33, November 27, 2010 (UTC)
This is particularly important as Madam is a term of address which denotes an unmarried woman while Madame denotes a married one.
In the Yule Ball chapter, Hagrid asks Madame Maxime if her mother or her father was a giant. Does this count as a mention that would warrant articles on her father, her mother, and the Maxime family?--Rodolphus (talk) 15:36, January 19, 2014 (UTC)
- They are definitely mentioned. "“I jus' knew… knew you were like me… Was it yer mother or yer father?”". The criteria for creation of those articles are met. -- 17:47, January 31, 2014 (UTC)
Madame Maxime is in the Beauxbatons students category. Was it ever clearly stated that she attended the school herself? At least in the Muggle world, you don't need to attend a school to become a teacher. I think there is a chance that she was home-schooled.--Rodolphus (talk) 16:22, May 29, 2017 (UTC)
