In Goblet of Fire, when the balls are released the Quaffle is described as shooting into the air with the rest of the balls. But I thought it couldn't do this? Gwenog Jones

The Quaffel is the biggest of the three balls you use to play quidditch which are blugger quaffel and the golden snitch.Quidditch is a fictional game thought up by J.K Rowling for the Harry Potter series. The main goal for this ball is to throw it through one of the three hoops each hoop is worth ten points.The quaffel is a brown and oddly shaped sphere that is quite large about the size of a soccer
