Lupin?[]

Perhaps it was of Gilderoy Lockhart who left behind it, and not of Lupin? Lockhart would have had curly hair ... Lupin not so much. The office was for all DADA teachers. --Hunnie Bunn (talk) 20:46, January 12, 2014 (UTC)

Rollers non-canon?[]

On Pottermore, Rowling said that Lockhart have 'natural wavy hair' and since the books and pottermore is higher canon than the books, Lockhart wouldn't need rollers to make his hair appear wavy. Ninclow 08:58, April 6, 2015 (UTC)

In Chamber of Secrets, chapter 9, the portraits in Lockhart's office are described as being wearing rollers and hairnets. I wouldn't doubt Lockhart slept in rollers to keep his naturally wavy hair perfect. --  Seth Cooper  owl post! 16:29, April 6, 2015 (UTC)
I thought the canon policu dicated that the most recent canon information is the relevant one? If Lockhart's hair was naturally wavy, why would he need rollers? Ninclow 17:26, April 6, 2015 (UTC)
There are several indications on Pottermore (the illustration for the moment in Lockhart's office in Chamber of Secrets, for instance, or collecting a hair roller from the D.A.D.A. office in the following book) as well as in the books (books being the highest source of canon) that Lockhart utilised hair rollers. The cause of this was never really specified, but it's possible that he didn't think his naturally wavy hair was curly enough, and wanted to make it curlier. --Hunnie Bunn (talk) 19:01, April 6, 2015 (UTC)
Some people with naturally curly hair still use rollers, typically to change the style of their hair (apparently, there are different degrees of "curliness" and using rollers can affect this). I also see no contradiction. -- 1337star (Drop me a line!) 19:15, April 6, 2015 (UTC)
