I just thought maybe her name might be Sophie/Sophia, the name(s) mean wisdom and she is a Ravenclaw, just a guess DON'T take literally. 90.198.232.253 22:08, 1 May 2008 (UTC)

Fawcetts[]

So, just wondering, how do we know that S. Fawcett who lent Quidditch Through the Ages also is the same one who is both in Hufflepuff and in Ravenclaw? What if there are sisters, one in Hufflepuff and one in Ravenclaw, and one of them is starting with "S"? And one of them got a beard mentioned by Dumbledore, one of them kissed Stebbins and got in trouble for? And one of the two of them lent the Quidditch book? --Hunnie Bunn (talk) 21:04, January 12, 2014 (UTC)

Agreed.--Rodolphus (talk) 15:45, October 24, 2015 (UTC)

I agree also. Should we go about separating them into two articles? EDIT: In the same spirit, if there are indeed two Fawcetts, we don't know which of them is the "Miss Fawcett" mentioned in Chamber of Secrets. -- Saxon 15:47, October 24, 2015 (UTC)

I´d say so. No one has objected in over a year and their different houses are definately canon support. And if we don´t seperate them, we should at least write a BTS note--Rodolphus (talk) 15:53, October 24, 2015 (UTC)

I think two seperate pages for Fawcett and S. Fawcett would work. It has never been determined if they are the same person, Rowling has never clarified anything. They could be two people if Rowling decided to do that. - Kates39 (talk) 11:47, 5 June 2021 (UTC)

Why is this article not called S. Fawcett? Castlemore (talk) 23:49, 8 March 2023 (UTC)

I would support a rename to that name. RedWizard98 (talk) 00:23, 9 March 2023 (UTC)

Name origin[]

Where in canon is she known as "S. Fawcett"? Where does the letter "S" come from? RedWizard98 (talk) 17:04, 7 December 2023 (UTC)

In Quidditch Through the Ages, her name is on the first page in the borrower log. - Kates39 (talk) 17:12, 7 December 2023 (UTC)
