Burber Lady[]
Am I the only one who doesn't have a clue what/who a "Burber Lady" is? -- Seth Cooper owl post! 18:38, October 6, 2012 (UTC)
- I've certainly never heard of such a thing, but if I had to guess, my suspicion would be a misspelling of "Barber Lady." ProfessorTofty (talk) 18:59, October 6, 2012 (UTC)
- Even if so, can you think of any character that would be called "Barber Lady"? Perhaps one of the portraits, or a ghost? I personally find it odd; barbers are traditionally men. It could also be a mispelling of (the slightly amusing) "Burger Lady", or a "Lady Burber"? -- Seth Cooper owl post! 21:26, October 6, 2012 (UTC)
- Were any shopkeepers or Leaky Cauldron staff seen in the film? If so it may have been one of them, and if not, perhaps there was mentioned one in Hogsmeade when Harry snuck in. Alternatively, it may be "Burger Lady" - perhaps someone in the Three Broomsticks when Harry goes in and overhears Fudge talking about Sirius? --Hunniebunn (talk) 21:31, October 6, 2012 (UTC)
- Yeah, probably one of those, though I'd have to study the film to be sure. Maybe when I have a mo'... ProfessorTofty (talk) 21:49, October 6, 2012 (UTC)
- Given that the actress is Anglo-Eygptian, I think the most reasonable interpretation would be "Berber Lady". -- 1337star (Drop me a line!) 22:19, October 6, 2012 (UTC)
- Very well spotted! -- Seth Cooper owl post! 23:25, October 6, 2012 (UTC)
- I'm guessing she portrays one of the women in a portrait of wailing Egyptians featured in the Prisoner of Azkaban film. ★ Starstuff (Owl me!) 04:47, May 7, 2016 (UTC)
