Infobox image[]
It would be nice if somebody could create a high quality replacement for his infobox image. The current one has some out of universe elements (background) and is a bit stylised, making him too cartoony and lacks his freckles, so doesn't properly portray him. This also applies to Dinah Hecat, Mudiwa Onai, Amit Thakkar, Poppy Sweeting and Natsai Onai. Castlemore (talk) 17:23, 20 February 2023 (UTC)

Sebastian Sallow will appear in a skin in QC (basically a way to dress up your character). How do we view this as canon? Obviously the appearance is non canon because the game is not set in the 19th century — but should he be regarded as a Slytherin Quidditch player in canon, and have it in his Skills and abilities section, as the very fact of him playing Quidditch at all is not contradicted by anything? Only thing I can think of is that Sebastian never mentioned or showed any interest in Quidditch in HL Castlemore (talk) 21:21, 9 August 2024 (UTC)
- I don't think it should count as canon, some other skins available are madame Hooch and McGonagall in her professor dress, we know she doesn't play quidditch at that age, and professors wouldn't play in tournament matches with students. For me every skin is just the MC, not the actual person it reflects. We still have to see if the story mode makes the player use an specific character skin depending on the story, but outside of a story mode skins are not canon. - I am against inclusion of this information as canon. It just seems Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions is just using the Sebastian’s likeness as promotional material for the game and as such, should not be taken seriously, at least in this case. I agree wit Jsilver’s assessment of the skin customization of the Main character, as any could be canon, but the wiki refuses to explicitly endorse a specific appearance, because the appearance couldd be anything else. - Do we have more info on this skin thing besides what's in FAQ and the trailer, images preferrably? If it's just the player being able to look like Sebastian, and not Sebastian himself appearing, I don't think it even counts as an appearance of Sebastian, canonical or not. At best you could say his features are borrowed into the game. MalchonC (talk) 04:52, 10 August 2024 (UTC)
- Malchon, see Percival Graves#Appearances. There is a precedent for people to have listed appearances even if they do not appear. Castlemore (talk) 08:04, 10 August 2024 (UTC)
- That makes sense, JLSilver. I was on the fence about the use of such a template anyway, if it is not Sebastian himself who appears. I will create a necessary tag right now, but first: you mentioned McGonagall and Hooch also appear? How exactly do you know this, as I don't see that reflected in the trailers - maybe I missed it? Do they only appear as skins, or do they have actual roles in the game? Should I put the tag onto them too? Castlemore (talk) 08:02, 10 August 2024 (UTC)
