So is the shrieking shack actually haunted? In the article it doesnt specify, it says it was created so remus lupid had somewhere to turn into a werewolf but it needs to definitively say yes its haunted or no it isnt that was just to keep people away. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 95.145.169.102 (talk • contribs).
- No, it isn't. Quote: The yells and shouts heard by the villagers were really Lupin biting and scratching himself due to lack of humans to infect. --ÈnŔîčö DC(Send me an Owl!) 01:02, January 17, 2010 (UTC)
Was it built for the dilibarate purpose for lupin? or was it just an old house that was already there that they used for him? Helgen (talk) 14:22, October 27, 2013 (UTC)

Pottermore reveals that Dumbledore had the shack built for Lupin. --Hunnie Bunn (talk) 14:34, October 27, 2013 (UTC)

Its said that the Shack has no working doors or windows... Is this because Dumbledore had them nailed shut and enchanted so that it would be impossible for anyone to go in or out, to protect Remus so that his condition would remain secret and to protect the villagers from a potential werewolf on rampage?
