"Stop edit warring and use the talk page instead."

You're the one edit warring again. --RogueOwner (talk) 22:10, 25 February 2021 (UTC)

And you would I presume, like to discuss this article's content? Or would you like to wage another pretty, counter-productive grudge against other editor for some reason? I'm unsure. The only purpose of a talk page is to discuss article topics, not for personal attacks. RedWizard98 (talk) 22:14, 25 February 2021 (UTC)

This IS about the article. --RogueOwner (talk) 22:23, 25 February 2021 (UTC)

Well, if it is, you have made no comment about the article's content, but have simply regurgitated a remark made by another user as somehow a topic header, so I'm still unsure of your intentions. As most people would be.RedWizard98 (talk) 22:27, 25 February 2021 (UTC)

My message on the top of this talk page meant that the content you added is not correct. As what most people would have understand it. --RogueOwner (talk) 22:36, 25 February 2021 (UTC)

But you have not made any arguments about the article content on this talk page. That is not how talk page discussions are properly started. You haven't explained why you don't believe some content should belong in this article, but all you have is attempt to make bitter comments about another user - not the correct purpose of a talk page and not how you convince people. RedWizard98 (talk) 22:45, 25 February 2021 (UTC)

I'm sorry for assuming that you had read the edit summaries I wrote related of this article. The summaries said: "Per the infobox policy, no mix-ups in 'Also known as' field. The identity must be used in reference to the character more than once." --RogueOwner (talk) 23:16, 25 February 2021 (UTC)

You did not place this comment on the talk page, so again, you did not present your argument correctly in the first place. And many aliases can be in fact one-offs; for an example, look at Harry Potter's article, or people impersonated with Polyjuice Potion. RedWizard98 (talk) 23:19, 25 February 2021 (UTC)

I think we should follow the policies instead of taking example from other faulty articles. This is like the Tracey Davis discussion again. --RogueOwner (talk) 23:24, 25 February 2021 (UTC)

The Harry Potter article, is of I believe, and most others, not faulty, and in fact, one of the best articles on the wiki. And several administrators have in fact came to a pretty sound conclusion on Tracey's article. RedWizard98 (talk) 23:45, 25 February 2021 (UTC)
As noted, Aliases cannot be one-offs or mistakes, as clearly stated on Harry Potter Wiki:Character infobox guidelines. If the Harry Potter article has issues of a similar nature, then they should be identified and corrected as well. Mistakes on one article do not justify keeping mistakes on other articles.
Along these lines, where is the canon evidence that Stubby is a British Wizard as was added on this edit and this one? Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, Chapter 10 (Luna Lovegood) doesn't say anything about Stubby's nationality or magical abilities. Thanks --Ironyak1 (talk) 00:03, 26 February 2021 (UTC)

Please educate me of why aren't this and the Harry Potter article against the policy. It's not very helpful to reverse my edits if you can't prove that they are incorrect - Instead it causes an edit war. --RogueOwner (talk) 23:52, 25 February 2021 (UTC)

You are the one starting edit wars and arguments. An alias can also be defined as a false or assumed identity, which are often used in Harry Potter, for the purpose of deception. RedWizard98 (talk) 00:05, 26 February 2021 (UTC)

I choose to believe the sysop (admin) over you. --RogueOwner (talk) 00:14, 26 February 2021 (UTC)

@Ironyak1 why do you think it would be likely for a non-wizard to be a singer in a wizarding band? -  MrSiriusBlack  Talk  00:44, 26 February 2021 (UTC)
Singing doesn't require magic and the sources doesn't state it to be a wizarding band. --RogueOwner (talk) 00:52, 26 February 2021 (UTC)
The Quibbler might be full of nonsense, but I doubt it would claim Sirius Black was a Muggle. -  MrSiriusBlack  Talk  01:21, 26 February 2021 (UTC)
I think stating he was not a wizard is quite absurd considering he was featured in a wizarding magazine, but a Muggle one. I now think this argument has now gotten to nick picking over basic details. RedWizard98 (talk) 01:22, 26 February 2021 (UTC)
