The article states that as he was thirty-eight years old on 1 September, 1995 he was born in 1956/57. Therefore, we can reasonably assume that the first crowd of the Order were not gathered until 1973 or 1974, as if it were any earlier the birthdates would not correspond with what is given in the infobox reference. - I think it's implied. Pottermore says that the talk between Tonks and Lupin took place "after a year of increasingly warm friendship". Given that Tonks and Lupin met each other in the summer of 1995, when the Order was reactivated, this would place the scene in mid-1996. As we know that Podmore was released from Azkaban in around March of 1996 (six months after September, 1995), then it would make sense that they were talking about him: he'd been recently released from half a year of imprisonment there. -- Seth Cooper owl post! 14:01, August 3, 2013 (UTC)
- I would tend to agree with Ying Sum; Sirius has always been referred to as having once been handsome and having retained some of his good looks despite Azkaban, which suits Tonks's comment (He's still handsome, isn't he, even after Azkaban?).
