Infobox Image[]
I've locked the article for now to stop the unproductive edit-warring. It's best when disagreements arise to take the issue to the article's Talk Page to discuss with everyone instead of just back and forth between a couple editors.
For clarity on what I've said, in general, the most recent in-universe appearance tends to be used for the character's infobox image, as long as it represents the character well and is good quality. That is why we use Deathly Hallows images for most major characters' infoboxes, including Dumbledore, even though his most out-of-universe portrayal would be that of Jude Law in Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald. However this is not a strict policy as sometimes an earlier portrayal better captures the character.
So for Talbott, is one of the images from his latest year in Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery? Is there one that better captures him as a character? I'd be interested to hear thoughts on which one is better and why and then see what the wider community thinks in order to help resolve this issue. - I'm not sure which is the more recent, but Talbot hasn't aged or changed at all throughout the course of the game (he's a CGI character, but you know what I mean). Therefore I don't see the point in getting hung up about which image is "more current", as the difference is non-existent. The original file is very low res... You can see prominent pixelation round the character model, his hair and skin don't show up well against the brown background, and he's looking sideways at something out of view. The proposed replacement is of excellent quality, is transparent (no visible background) and he has a nice neutral facial expression, and is looking directly into the camera. The only other sticking point seems to be the clothes he is wearing, but again, I don't see why this is an issue... The picture is cut off at the shoulders, so you can't really see what he's wearing... The bits that are visible are in the Ravenclaw colours of blue and bronze, and he looks smart and nicely dressed. The argument that his school uniform is an integral part of his character doesn't really hold up - they're not fused to his body. He wears them everyday because he's in school and has no choice. I don't see anybody complaining that Harry 'only wore that sweater once'... It's just not that big an issue. Talbott's OWLS[]
There are no citations provided for Talbott having taken sixth/seventh year classes in several subjects in his Magical abilities and skills section. AnnaSmit1 or anyone else for that matter, can you provide references, with year, chapter, side quest, assignment, achievement, etc. specified? If these are not provided, I may well remove this content, as I cannot recall the student taking those advanced classes in gameplay I've seen. RedWizard98 (talk) 15:40, 19 May 2023 (UTC)
Eye colour[]
I would personally say his eyes were a shade of brown rather than orange, although both colours are ultimately similar. RedWizard98 (talk) 17:50, 10 September 2023 (UTC)
