Bird v House

How best to make pages for both creature and Ilvermorny house? --Ironyak1 (talk) 22:25, May 8, 2016 (UTC)

Separate articles is definitely the way to go. I'm for keeping this the main article (i.e. "Thunderbird," with no parenthetical subtitle) and linking to the Ilvermorny house article using {{Youmay}}. That's because the creature almost certainly predates the house and is more of a general topic. Starstuff (Owl me!) 23:04, May 8, 2016 (UTC)
It would also be possible to have "Thunderbird (creature)" and "Thunderbird (House)", and turn this article into a disambiguation page linking to both. Starstuff (Owl me!) 23:05, May 8, 2016 (UTC)

Thunderbird Classification

Is it possible that the Thunderbird's classification is XXXX? It is certainly a dangerous magical beast, but it does not appear to be as deadly as Dragons and Basilisks.

We can't add it, as this would be speculation. Second, to me it doesn't appear to be dangerous at all. I know thunderstorms can be dangerous, but the bird itself seemed to be quite gentle to me. It did not attack anyoe as far as I can remember.--Rodolphus (talk) 08:29, February 13, 2017 (UTC)
