- "Just because you have the emotional range of a teaspoon doesn't mean we all have."
- — Hermione Granger to Ronald Weasley[src]
A teaspoon was a small spoon that was commonly used to stir a cup of tea or coffee and measure volume.[1]
A silver teaspoon of dew that had not seen sunlight or been touched by human feet for seven days was an important ingredient in the Animagus potion, the potion that turned drinkers into Animagi.[2]
History[]
When Harry Potter arrived at the Leaky Cauldron the summer of 1993, there was a wizard performing wandless magic on the teaspoon in his coffee, stirring it.[3]
On the night of 18 December 1995, while discussing Cho Chang's feelings in the Gryffindor common room, Hermione Granger suggested that Ronald Weasley had "the emotional range of a teaspoon".[4]
