I just had this idea spark. It takes a bit of complicated ParserFunctions, but.... You can make the featured article automatically switch on the set date. Just put:

{{ #ifeq: {{CURRENTMONTHNAME}} {{CURRENTDATE}}, {{CURRENTYEAR}}| (Article's Month) (Article's Date), (Article's Year)| (Article Content) |}}

for every article -Matoro183 (Talk) 14:51, 1 December 2007 (UTC)

Wookieepedia uses a similar system, but from the looks of it, to work effectively, you have to create a separate page for each FA containing the info you want on the main page. The FA template then automatically updates from that page, not the article page. While this may work well on the Wookiee (who have new FAs twice a week), it may not here since we update once every four weeks. I'll look into it, tho. - Cavalier One(Wizarding Wireless Network) 16:05, 1 December 2007 (UTC)
I'm not really sure its worth the trouble. We'd essentially be creating a whole bunch of "throw away" articles. Since we only change it once a month its not really big deal to change it by hand. -- DarkJedi613 (Talk) 16:14, 1 December 2007 (UTC)
Yeah, makes sense-Matoro183 (Talk) 16:29, 1 December 2007 (UTC)

Percy picture

I believe some of the other pictures in Percy's article look much better. I don't want to change anything without others consent however.-Matoro183 (Talk) 00:38, 9 February 2008 (UTC)

The image should reflect the current and up to date appearance of the character. The other images are from older films, and therefore do not reflect the character as he is "now". The main image should be from his appearance in the Order of the Phoenix. However, I will try to find a replacement OotP picture of Percy, or acquire one from my copy of the film. Until then, the image should remain. - Cavalier One(Wizarding Wireless Network) 01:22, 9 February 2008 (UTC)
Oh, I didn't think about that...-Matoro183 (Talk) 11:44, 9 February 2008 (UTC)

Auto update

The FA never seems to be updated on time. I think we need to start using wookiepedia's method that automatically updates the featured article.--Matoro183 (Talk) 12:01, 9 May 2009 (UTC)

I agree with Matoro here. It needs to be automatically changed so it would be easier.--L.V.K.T.V.J.Hogwarts(Send an owl!) 19:32, February 27, 2010 (UTC)

I agree.--Rodolphus 19:37, February 27, 2010 (UTC)

Spelling mistake

Hi, I saw a spelling mistake and wanted to tell you here. That's the section:

"At the age of eleven, Harry learned from Rubeus Hagrid, the Hogwarts gamekeeper, that he was a wizard. He began attending Hogwart's School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and was sorted into Gryffindor house."

Hogwart's - wrong / Hogwarts - right

I only wanted to tell you.  Harry granger   Talk   contribs 10:28, November 18, 2011 (UTC)
