The Daily Prophet Competition was organised by the Daily Prophet in 1995. On the front page of Daily Prophet was a small column which read, "WIN A WEEKEND FOR 2: Beast climbing in the relaxing surrounding of Romania". Another edition of the newspaper read, "THE DAILY PROPHET COMPETITION: WIN A NIGHT IN TRANSYLVANIA".[1] To win the competition, one presumably had to collect Hocus Tokens, small pullout cards that came with the newspaper.[2]
