The Dark Forces: A Guide to Self-Protection is a book authored by Professor Quentin Trimble. This book provides insight and information on verious dark creatures, it also contains some basic defensive spells.

History

It was a required textbook for both first year and fourth year Defence Against the Dark Arts students.[1][3] A copy of this textbook at Flourish and Blotts Bookshop has a cost of one galleon.[4]
