The Mine's Eye was a goblin mine which was located in the countryside near Hogsmeade in the Hogwarts Valley of the Scottish Highlands. Above the entrance of the mine was an eye which kept looking around for intruders.[1]

History[]

In the 1890–1891 school year, Ravenclaw student Amit Thakkar and his fellow student entered The Mine's Eye, where they defeated a number of Ranrok's Loyalists and stole scrolls and notes bearing Ranrok's plans. Amit identified that Ranrok was building massive drills in the mine, which his fellow found suspicious.[1]
